The Trout Lake Mountain Home faces east towards the rising sun and the foothills of Mt. Adams. At the heart of the home are the primary living spaces and deck that provide shelter from the elements while allowing natural light and views to the distant ridge. Rough sawn posts and beams harvested from the building site are utilized to frame the vaulted roofline above these central spaces.
