The White Salmon River Home is a custom family home that is designed to fit in with the terraced landscape and surrounding forest. The exterior is inspired by Northwest Craftsman sensibilities with a tinge of Asian influence. Stucco siding, metal roofing and drain rock landscaping were selected for their fire resistant properties. The interior is centered on the great room spaces along the front of the home that connect to the outdoor porch and patio. These living spaces receive ample natural light from the wraparound windows and dormer above.
